Lee Parkinson MBE (Mr P)

Lee Parkinson MBE, better known as Mr P, has been a primary school teacher for almost two decades and was awarded an MBE in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours for services to education. Throughout his career he’s built a wealth of practical strategies for embedding technology across the curriculum. Still teaching part-time, he also delivers CPD and INSET training across the UK and beyond, helping raise standards through the effective and purposeful use of tech. His work has supported thousands of schools and hundreds of thousands of teachers to get more out of the technology they already have.

Renowned for his humorous and relatable take on classroom life, Mr P helps teachers make learning more engaging, inclusive, and accessible. He’s passionate about better work/life balance for educators, and shows how technology can cut unnecessary workload while removing barriers for learners. With a blunt but honest approach, he challenges outdated practice before offering practical alternatives that hold up in a real classroom.
